Daily News Briefing Sponsorship

Published each weekday, the CyberWire Daily News Briefing offers two sponsorship opportunities:

  1. Lead Sponsor: your native ad, prominently featured above our news summary.
  2. Embedded Sponsor: your native ad will be featured below the news summary and affected country list.
  3. Selected Reading Sponsor: your native ad will be featured below selected reading category title.

Your sponsorship will be recognized in tweets (with your handle, link, and logo), at least three times over a 24-hour period for each issue sponsored.

Lead sponsor logos are featured on the CyberWire home page.

Week that Was Sponsorship

Published each Saturday the Week that Was will feature your native ad integrated with the publication content.

There are two types of sponsorship:

  1. Lead Sponsor (only 1 available each week): this is the first spot in the publication and precedes all other content.
  2. Embedded Sponsor (4 available each week): These spots are woven through the publication, spaced out according to the varying length of each issue.

Your sponsorship will be recognized in tweets (with your handle, link), at least three times every 24-hour period until the next issue is published (Monday-Friday).

Event Tracker Sponsorship

The Event Tracker is published each weekday as part of the CyberWire Daily News Briefing (5 available each week). Your Sponsorship includes the following promotions:

  • A native ad for your event featured below the podcast update in the CyberWire Daily News Briefing.
  • An image banner placed at the beginning1 of the Cyber Events section within the CyberWire Daily News Briefing.
  • An image banner placed at the top1 of the Event Tracker web page.
  • An image placed within the Sponsored Events section of the home page.

1Sponsored Event ads are ordered in chronological order by the event start date.

Events are tweeted to our followers at least three times in a 24-hour period, with an accompanying graphic featuring your event information, twitter handle, and link.

A one-minute (maximum) recorded sponsor message will be read as part of each show. These messages are created as a “live read” by our podcast host, and will include mention of a link where people can learn more about your product, service, solution.

Podcast sponsor logos are featured on the CyberWire homepage and podcast directory pages for the day of sponsorship.

At least three tweets each day (over a 24-hour period) of your sponsorship. Tweets include your Twitter handle, your logo, and a link to your website (or campaign).
