HDI Global Specialty (HGS) has acquired a majority stake in cyber risk insurance underwriter Falcon Risk Holdings. Falcon said in a press release, "Working exclusively for HDI Global Specialty, Falcon is expected to serve as a major growth driver for HGS in the U.S. market. As a full-service MGA (Underwriting and Claims) specializing in the U.S. financial lines segment, Falcon is already actively writing policies in Directors and Officers (D&O) liability, professional indemnity (PI), and cyber insurance on behalf of HDI. Falcon writes on both Admitted and Non-Admitted company insurers."

Danish cloud data protection firm Keepit has announced that "HSBC Innovation Banking, the global, specialised banking partner for businesses in cutting-edge sectors, has provided a $40 million refinancing package in partnership with The Export and Investment Fund of Denmark (EIFO)." The company says the "new funding frees up capital for further investments in international expansion, hiring, business operations, and product development as continues to scale and build out its market-leading platform for SaaS data protection."
Israel- and California-based governance, risk, and compliance (GRC) automation startup anecdotes has secured $25 million in a Series B round led by Glilot Capital Partners, with participation from existing investors Red Dot Capital Partners, Vintage Investment Partners, and Shasta Ventures, as well as new investors Vertex and DTCP. The company stated, "This funding will not only fuel expansion into vital markets across the US, EMEA, and APAC regions but also enhance engagement of its successful partnerships with Deloitte, Coalfire, Google as well as many others."
German smart contract security platform provider AuditOne has raised €800,000 (US$868,000) in a seed funding round led by High-Tech Gründerfonds (HTGF), with participation from Sebastian Herzog, Florian von Bodman, and others, FinSMEs reports. The company plans to use the funds "to drive the development of AI SaaS solutions towards the research and development of AI tools."
