CrowdStrike has agreed to acquire Israeli SaaS security startup Adaptive Shield for $300 million, Calcalist reports. CrowdStrike stated, "With this acquisition, CrowdStrike will be the only cybersecurity vendor to provide unified, end-to-end protection against identity-based attacks across the entire modern cloud ecosystem – from on-premises Active Directory to cloud-based identity providers and SaaS applications – delivered from a single, unified platform."
Miami-headquartered network monitoring company Kaseya has acquired Pennsylvania-based SaaS security platform SaaS Alerts. The company said the acquisition "marks Kaseya’s entry into the future of Cloud Detection and Response and plays a critical role in Kaseya 365 User."

San Francisco-based crowdsourced cybersecurity platform Bugcrowd has received a $50 million growth capital facility from Silicon Valley Bank (SVB). The company says the "new financing will further scale Bugcrowd's AI-powered platform globally, fund continued innovation into the Bugcrowd Platform, and leverage opportunities for strategic M&A, providing added value to clients, partners, and the hacker community."
French cyber threat intelligence platform Filigran has raised $35 million in a Series B round led by Insight Partners, with participation from existing investors Accel and Moonfire. The company says the funding "will fuel the company's global expansion, particularly in the United States and the Pacific region, while supporting continued product innovation, focusing on AI and data engineering use cases."
Israeli generative AI application security startup Noma has emerged from stealth with $32 million in Series A funding led by Ballistic Ventures.

UnitedHealth Group has appointed Tim McKnight as its new CISO, the Record reports. The company's former CISO, Steven Martin, is now serving as the company’s Chief Restoration Officer following the ransomware attack against the company's Change Healthcare platform earlier this year.
Bolster has appointed Rod Schultz as its new CEO.
Idaho State University has named Jared Bartel as CISO.
Bugcrowd has hired Trey Ford as CISO for the Americas.
