Boston-based cyber risk management company Bitsight has agreed to acquire Israeli threat intelligence firm Cybersixgill for $115 million. Bitsight CEO Steve Harvey stated, "The acquisition of Cybersixgill is a major step forward in our product vision, enabling us to deliver unparalleled insight into risk and threat exposure across an organization's extended attack surface. Boston-based identity security company Silverfort has acquired cloud identity security firm Rezonate. Silverfort stated, "Integrating Rezonate's unique cloud-focused capabilities into Silverfort's Unified Identity Security Platform creates the broadest and most complete identity security offering on the market."
Investments and exits.
New York-based data security company Cyera has secured $300 million in a Series D round led by Accel and Sapphire Ventures, with participation from Sequoia, Redpoint, Coatue, and Georgian. The funding brings the company's valuation to $3 billion. The company's co-founder and CEO Yotam Segev stated, "This funding enables us to continue accelerating platform development, attracting world-class talent in R&D, sales, and marketing, and strategically acquiring solutions that align with our vision for the future of data security."
Israeli generative AI security firm Prompt Security has raised $18 million in a Series A round led by Jump Capital, with participation from Hetz Ventures, Ridge Ventures, Okta, and F5. The company's co-founder and CEO Itamar Golan said, "With the support of our investors, we will continue advancing our solutions and expanding both our geographic footprint and presence across different industries."
Israeli cybersecurity startup Twine has raised $12 million in a seed round led by Ten Eleven Ventures and Dell Technologies Capital, with participation from angel investors. The company stated, "The initial capital will accelerate the development of Twine’s digital cyber employees who execute tasks from A to Z to help security teams close the industry’s critical talent gap."
Denver, Colorado-based generative AI governance company SurePath AI has raised $5.2 million in seed funding led by Uncork Capital, with participation from Operator Collective.
New York-based software development security startup Symbiotic Security has secured $3 million in seed funding from Lerer Hippeau, Axeleo Capital, Factorial Capital, and others.
