Los Angeles-based private equity firm Kingswood Capital Management has acquired Portland, Oregon-headquartered cybersecurity breach response platform IDX from ZeroFox. IDX's president Ian Kelly stated, "We look forward to the partnership with Kingswood and believe that with their support we can further accelerate the robust growth we have experienced over the last few years....Through our Partnership with Kingswood, the focus we will gain as an independent company will help us add the incremental services and product features that will most benefit our customers."

San Francisco-based cloud infrastructure security startup Upwind has raised $100 million in a Series A round led by Craft, with participation from TCV, Alta Park, Greylock, Cyberstarts, Leaders Fund, Cerca, and Sheva. The company says the funding will accelerate its global expansion.
Austin, Texas-based anti-ransomware platform provider Halcyon has secured $100 million in a Series C round led by Evolution Equity Partners, with participation from Bain Capital Ventures, SYN Ventures, Harmony Partners, Corner Capital Management, Dropbox Ventures, ServiceNow Ventures, and existing investors. The funding round brings the company's valuation to $1 billion. Halcyon says the funding "will be used to accelerate the company's growth and strengthen its position as the leading anti-ransomware platform provider."
New York-based cloud backup company Eon has raised $70 million in a Series C round led by BOND, with participation from existing investors including Sequoia Capital, Greenoaks, and Lightspeed Venture Partners. The funding brings the company's valuation to $1.4 billion.
San Francisco-headquartered threat defense platform Tuskira has emerged from stealth with $28.5 million in funding led by Intel Capital and SYN Ventures, with participation from Sorenson Capital, Rain Capital, Wipro Ventures.
