Citrix has acquired German device management startup deviceTRUST and Swiss secure cloud development company Strong Network. Citrix stated, "[T]hese acquisitions expand the security capabilities of the Citrix platform, enabling it to isolate and protect access to mission-critical applications deployed across on-premises and cloud environments while ensuring access for developers to cloud development environments. With these new additions, Citrix is empowering companies to simplify zero-trust access to meet diverse user needs in hybrid application deployments while reducing the risk of data loss."
Boston-based cyber risk management company Bitsight has completed its acquisition of Israeli dark web threat intelligence provider Cybersixgill. The company stated, "By combining Bitsight's unparalleled asset mapping capabilities with Cybersixgill's real-time threat insights, security teams will gain a unified solution to pinpoint, prioritize, and address emerging threats faster than ever."
Managed detection and response company CyberProof has acquired threat exposure management provider Interpres Security. CyberProof stated, "Interpres’ advanced capabilities will empower CyberProof’s clients with a risk-prioritized, continuous view of their security posture. This will help businesses focus on the highest-priority threats targeting their specific industries, locations, and technologies, ensuring that their defenses are always aligned with the most current and relevant risks."
Investments and exits.
San Jose, California-based hardware-anchored platform security company Axiado has raised $60 million in an oversubscribed Series C round led by Maverick Silicon, with participation from Samsung Catalyst Fund, Atreides Management, and Crosslink Capital. The company says it "will use the Series C funding to drive continued innovation, strengthen strategic partnerships with leading platform vendors like NVIDIA, AMD, Intel, and Arm, and accelerate go-to-market initiatives with OEM and ODM partners to drive Axiado solutions into the data centers."
Israeli non-human identity security company Astrix Security has raised $45 million in a Series B round led by Menlo Ventures, with participation from Workday Ventures and existing investors Bessemer Venture Partners, CRV, and F2 Venture Capital.
New York City-based privacy and AI governance startup Ethyca has raised $10 million in a funding round led by Aspenwood Ventures and AVP. The company says the funding "will go towards Ethyca enhancing key product capabilities and growing its team."
Virginia-headquartered cybersecurity intelligence company Silent Push has raised $10 million in a Series A round co-led by Ten Eleven Ventures and Stepstone Group LP. The company says the funding "will accelerate Silent Push's global expansion in EMEA and APJ regions and strengthen its go-to-market efforts to meet growing demand."
Palo Alto, California-based threat detection engineering startup System Two Security has emerged from stealth with $7 million in seed funding led by Costanoa Ventures, with participation from Runtime Ventures, The Hive, Webb Investment Network, and angel investors. The company "plans to use the funds to scale its team and accelerate product development."
Cryptocurrency crime prevention company CAT Labs has secured $5.4 million in seed funding led by M13, with participation from existing pre-seed investors Castle Island Ventures, CMT Digital, and Hash3.
