Kansas-headquartered IT risk management company Archer has acquired San Francisco-based regulatory change management provider Compliance.ai. Bill Diaz, CEO of Archer, stated, "With this acquisition, we can offer our clients the advantages of real-time updates, predictive analysis, and increased accuracy for regulatory compliance and risk management."
Allurity, a group of European cybersecurity companies, has completed its acquisition of Security Research Labs (SRLabs), a cyber consultancy based in Berlin and Hong Kong. Allurity said in a press release, "With SRLabs, Allurity takes a significant step in its journey of building a pure-play leader in tech-enabled cybersecurity services in Europe, meeting the needs of organizations worldwide in search of advanced and comprehensive cybersecurity solutions."
Smarsh, a company that offers solutions for digital communications compliance and intelligence, has acquired mobile messaging and voice compliance company TeleMessage. Smarsh stated, "Through the acquisition, Smarsh provides customers with compliance support from capture to insight, including the broadest range of mobile communication use cases. For companies that issue mobile devices, Smarsh captures text messages directly from an expanded global footprint of mobile carriers. It provides complete separation of private and business communications for organizations that enables employees to use their personal devices for business."
San Francisco-based cyber exposure management platform Armis has acquired AI-powered pre-attack threat hunting technology provider CTCI (Cyber Threat Cognitive Intelligence). Armis stated, "In a private deal which closed this week, Armis has acquired all of CTCI technology and employees, expecting to merge the company with Armis over the next 30 days. Armis will integrate CTCI's technology into Armis Centrix™ to create the most advanced early warning cyber intelligence system in the world, helping security operations teams be more effective in preventing breaches, detecting attacks, and determining if an organization has been compromised." CTech reports that the value of the acquisition was approximately $20 million.
Investments and exits.
Denver, Colorado-based biometric authentication startup Dapple Security has secured $2.3 million in a pre-seed funding round led by First In, with participation from ex/ante, Access Ventures, and Techstars. The company was founded by Gadalia Montoya Weinberg O'Bryan, a former cryptographer at the US National Security Agency
