Leidos has acquired Virginia-based cyber company Kudu Dynamics for approximately $300 million in cash. Leidos stated, "Acquiring Kudu Dynamics will accelerate Leidos’ strategy for AI-enabled offensive cyber, electromagnetic spectrum operations, and vulnerability research. Founded in 2013, Kudu Dynamics has rapidly grown its work across the Department of Defense, leading the industry in automated targeting, scalable hardware reverse engineering and the generation of other non-kinetic effects."
Arizona-based identity security company Ory has acquired UK-headquartered IAM platform provider BoxyHQ. BoxyHQ's Jackson platform is now known as "Ory Polis." Ory stated, "The acquisition enhances Ory's comprehensive offering by adding critical capabilities for B2B and B2B2C use cases through Ory Polis. While Ory already delivers a powerful composable, developer-friendly IAM stack, Ory Polis brings immediate additional capabilities in areas essential for enterprise adoption."
Tenable has announced its intent to acquire Israeli AI attack surface management company Apex Security. Tenable stated, "This move reinforces Tenable’s long-standing strategy of delivering scalable, unified exposure management as AI adoption accelerates."
Investments and exits.
TechCrunch reports that autonomous pentesting firm Horizon3.ai is seeking to raise $100 million in a new funding round, and has locked down $73 million so far. Sources told TechCrunch that NEA is leading the round.
Israeli microsegmentation company Zero Networks has raised $55 million in a Series C round led by Highland Europe, with participation from existing investors F2 Venture Capital, PICO Venture Partners, Venrock, and U.S. Venture Partners (USVP). The company stated, "This new investment fuels the company’s next phase of growth, including team expansion across sales and marketing, research and development, and customer support. Additionally, funding will be used to increase go-to-market investments in North America, EMEA, and APAC and support continued innovation in Zero Networks’ award-winning solutions."
Las Vegas-based email security company Trustifi has secured $25 million in a Series A round led by Camber Partners. The company stated, "[T]his investment will help us strengthen our product roadmap and accelerate our go-to-market initiatives. We will also expand awareness and marketing efforts to reach new customers."
London-based detection and response firm ThreatSpike has raised $14 million in a Series A round led by Expedition Growth Capital. The company says the funding "will support ThreatSpike’s continued global expansion, including additional hires in engineering, security operations, and go-to-market teams. The company will also accelerate its existing innovation roadmap across its platform offerings: ThreatSpike Blue (24/7 managed detection and response) and ThreatSpike Red (unlimited penetration testing)."
New York-headquartered governance, risk, and compliance platform provider Compyl has raised $12 million in a Series A round led by Venture Guides, with participation from Contour Venture Partners, Armory Square Ventures, nvp capital, Alpine Meridian Ventures, Brooklyn Bridge Ventures, and Zelkova Ventures. The company says the funding "will further accelerate Compyl’s go-to-market initiatives, expand its team across key departments, and further enhance the platform’s AI-supported GRC innovation."
Massachusetts-based data management and security firm Congruity360 has secured $5 million in funding from Flow Capital. The company says it "will use the capital to fuel continued product innovation and growth."

Hilco Global has launched a cybersecurity business unit called "Hilco Global Cyber Advisors" and appointed Alexander Niejelow as its CEO.
Mitiga has appointed John Vecchi as Chief Marketing Officer and John Stockel as Chief Financial Officer.
Forcepoint appointed Matt Derdeyn as Chief Financial Officer.
Zscaler has named Kevin Rubin as Chief Financial Officer.
Logpoint has hired Milad Aslaner as Chief Product Officer.
