Boston-based attack simulation platform company Cyberbit has acquired Virginia-based cyber range provider RangeForce. The companies stated, "The acquisition expands the Live-Fire Exercises catalog (team cyber range), strengthens the joint content library, enhances AI capabilities and user experience, and broadens coverage for commercial, enterprise, and government sectors. With dedicated teams and strategic data centers across the US and EU, the combined company also expands support for the government and highly regulated sectors, enabling compliance-ready simulations and proven resilience under the most realistic conditions."
Swedish email security firm Halon has acquired German email threat intelligence provider eleven cyber security. Halon stated, "Based in Europe and with a strong global footprint, this strategic acquisition further cements Halon’s position in the email space. It also underscores Halon’s ability to provide a fully European alternative, amid industry consolidation. The long-standing, commercially successful relationship between Halon and eleven, built on a strong alignment in vision and culture, provides a solid foundation for this next phase of growth for the company. eleven’s solutions are used by the three largest ISPs in Germany, including Deutsche Telekom and 1&1 Internet Group, covering over 50% of consumer email in the country.
North Carolina-based payment service orchestration platform Spreedly has acquired San Francisco-based fraud prevention company Dodgeball. Spreedly stated, "The acquisition of Dodgeball, which has played a key role in shaping the fraud orchestration category, will provide Spreedly’s customers with a new layer of reliability and insights to eliminate fraud and make smarter e-commerce decisions. The acquisition will also enhance Spreedly’s workflow engine and help to establish a foundation for AI-powered payments co-pilot."
New Jersey-based managed network services provider Spectrotel has acquired California-based MSSP Mosaic NetworX. The company stated, "With Mosaic’s deep expertise in delivering scalable, next-generation Cato SASE and SD-WAN solutions, the acquisition strengthens Spectrotel’s ability to deliver fully managed and secure network services to mid-market and enterprise clients across distributed environments."
Massachusetts-based IT solutions provider EchoStor has acquired Maine-based MSSP CyberNorth. EchoStor stated, "The combined organization will operate from EchoStor’s state-of-the-art headquarters in Norwood, Massachusetts, while maintaining CyberNorth’s regional locations to ensure continued local presence and support. [Jeremy Lombardo] will assume the role of President, while all CyberNorth employees will join EchoStor, preserving the technical expertise and customer relationships that have been central to both companies’ success."
Brazilian biometric authentication company Unico has acquired US- and Israel-based passwordless identity verification startup OwnID. Unico stated, "Unico will now offer an even more complete portfolio for clients who demand security, privacy, and frictionless experience in the user authentication process. The operation also marks Unico's entry into the United States, consolidating its position as a global player. This strengthens Unico's international expansion, especially in the United States, where Unico will now serve large corporations, such as the International Olympic Committee, Bayer, Carrefour, Michael Kors, Nestlé, NFL, among others."
Utah-based TLS/SSL certificate authority DigiCert has acquired San Francisco-based email authentication company Valimail. DigiCert stated, "The acquisition advances DigiCert’s strategy of delivering end-to-end digital trust. Valimail adds leadership in zero trust email authentication to the DigiCert ONE platform that already brings together public CA, private PKI, certificate lifecycle management, and DNS to give customers a unified view of digital trust."
New Hampshire-based IT services provider Blue Mantis has acquired Coreio, a Canadian MSP specializing in ServiceNow consulting. The company stated, "This strategic move positions Blue Mantis to accelerate its growth in the rapidly expanding ServiceNow midmarket segment and expands the company’s footprint in the Canadian market, signaling a significant investment in the region."

Israeli web app penetration testing platform provider Terra Security has raised $30 million in a Series A round led by Felicis, with participation from Dell Technologies Capital, SVCI, and existing investors SYN Ventures, LAMA Partners, and Underscore VC. The company says it will use the funding to grow its R&D and product teams, scale its go-to-market presence worldwide, and expand its platform into agentic-AI-driven red teaming.
German GDPR compliance automation company Kertos has raised €14 million (US$16.5 million) in a Series A round led by Portage, with participation from prior investors Pilabs, Redstone, 10x Founders, and seed+speed Ventures, the SaaS News reports. The company's CEO, Dr. Kilian Schmidt, said in a letter that they'll use the funding to "deepen automation, expand the Trust Graph, and continue building the compliance of the future."
Reston, Virginia-based threat intelligence firm Silent Push has secured $10 million in Series B funding from existing investors StepStone Group, Ten Eleven, and Knollwood Investment Advisory. The company says the funding will accelerate Silent Push’s continued innovation, global expansion, and customer momentum. Silent Push's CEO and co-founder Ken Bagnall says the company is expanding into Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and the Asia-Pacific.
New York-headquartered threat intelligence company Unit 221B has raised $5 million in seed funding led by J2 Ventures, with participation from Pipeline Capital and other investors. The company says the funding "will be used to expand platform capabilities by introducing tools and features that accelerate investigative collaboration and to move forward broader go-to-market efforts."
Canadian security compliance automation startup Mycroft has emerged from stealth with $3.5 million in seed funding led by Luge Capital, with participation from Brightspark Ventures, Graphite Ventures, and existing investors Ripple Ventures, Developer Capital, Antler, and BoxOne Ventures. The company says the funding "accelerates our product development and expands the reach of our specialized AI Agents."
Austin, Texas-based agentic AI security and observability startup Eve Security has raised $3 million in seed funding led by LiveOak Ventures, with participation from Tau Ventures. The company says the funding will "help the team continue to develop product features and its go-to-market (GTM) strategy."
Executive moves.
Barracuda has appointed Rohit Ghai as its new CEO. The company's former CEO, Hatem Naguib, has stepped down, stating, "As I pass the baton to Rohit, I do so with full confidence in his ability to lead Barracuda into its next era." Ghai has previously held executive leadership roles at RSA, EMC, Symantec, and CA Technologies.
One Identity has appointed Praerit Garg as CEO. Garg previously served as President of Product & Innovation at Smartsheet.
Gigamon has named Gareth Maclachlan as Chief Operating Officer, elevated Ram Bhide to Chief Development Officer, and expanded the role of Chaim Mazal as Chief AI and Security Officer.
Immersive has named Aniket Menon as Chief Product Officer and Thanos Karpouzis as Chief Technology Officer. Menon previously served as VP of Product at Rapid7, while Karpouzis was previously Immersive's Vice President of Engineering.
Northwestern Mutual has appointed Igor Zabara as CISO. Zabara previously served as the company's VP of Enterprise Cyber Security & Identity Access Management.
Infoblox has named Justin Kappers as Chief Information Officer. Kappers most recently served as Vice President of Enterprise Applications at NetApp.
