Los Angeles-based identity and access management provider Saviynt has raised $700 million in Series B growth equity financing led by funds managed by KKR, with participation from Sixth Street Growth, TenEleven, and existing investor Carrick Capital Partners. The company says the funding "will be used as growth capital to increase, expand, and accelerate product development; generate additional AI-based utilities, methodologies, and programs that facilitate the migration from legacy solutions to Saviynt's platform; and enable deeper integration with hyper-scalers, software/SaaS platforms, professional services firms, and value-added resellers."
Eon, a New York City-headquartered cloud backup provider that uses stored data for AI training and analytics, has raised $300 million in a Series D round led by Elad Gil of Gil Capital, with participation from existing investors Sequoia Capital, Lightspeed Venture Partners, Greenoaks, and BOND. The company stated, "Eon will use the new capital to accelerate R&D, global hiring, and U.S. market expansion while deepening its integrations with leading cloud providers. The company is strengthening strategic partnerships with AWS, Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud, as well as other technology leaders, to extend its platform’s reach and interoperability."
Boston-based agentic AI security provider 7AI has raised $130 million in a Series A round led by Index Ventures, with participation from new investor Blackstone Innovations Investments and all other existing seed investors, includng Greylock, CRV, and Spark. The company says the "funding will expand 7AI's AI Security Engineering and go-to-market teams as the company scales through its channel-first model."
Virginia-based software development security firm Antithesis has raised $105 million in a Series A round led by Jane Street, with participation from Amplify Venture Partners, Spark Capital, Tamarack Global, First In Ventures, Teamworthy Ventures, Hyperion Capital, and angel investors. The company says the funding "will be used to accelerate Antithesis's product innovation and scale its go-to-market operations across North America, Europe, and Asia."
San Jose, California-headquartered hardware-based security provider Axiado Corporation has raised more than $100 million in an oversubscribed Series C round led by Maverick Silicon, with participation from Prosperity7 Ventures, Orbit Venture Partners, Crosslink Capital, Nosterra Ventures, and others. The company says the funding "will fuel the company’s rapid growth and continued innovation in AI-driven, hardware-anchored products and solutions that are redefining platform security, system management, and energy efficiency for AI data centers, networking, telecom, and the edge."
New York City-based cyber impersonation prevention startup imper.ai has emerged from stealth with $28 million in funding led by Redpoint Ventures and Battery Ventures, with participation from Maple VC, Vessy VC, and Cerca Partners. The company stated, "The new funding will accelerate the company’s expansion and mission to stop impersonation (including deepfakes, voice clones, and others) and social engineering attacks at their source. Enterprises across the finance, healthcare, and technology sectors are already deploying imper.ai’s solution to strengthen trust in digital communications."
Niobium, an Ohio-based company that provides custom silicon for homomorphic encryption platforms, has secured more than $23 million in an oversubscribed follow-on investment to its seed round. The funding comes from new investors including Blockchange Ventures, ADVentures, Korea Development Bank, JobsOhio Ventures, Rev1 Angels, and Silicon Catalyst Ventures, as well as existing investors Fusion Fund, Morgan Creek Capital, Rev1 Ventures, and Ohio Innovation Fund. The company stated, "The capital enables the company to finalize its production silicon architecture, begin development of a production ASIC, and continue to enhance customer-facing infrastructure for pilots and integration, while expanding ecosystem enablement. Niobium's Early Access Program continues to gain traction with strategic partners across market segments. Niobium will deepen engagements with hyperscalers while continuing to explore markets such as blockchain and federated learning, positioning the company at the forefront of quantum-resilient computing infrastructure."

The company says the "funding will fuel Prime’s go-to-market expansion and accelerate development of its Agentic Product Security Platform."
Israeli agentic AI security platform Lumia has secured $18 million in seed funding led by Team8, with participation from New Era. The company says it "will use the funding to expand engineering and research, deepen integrations with major AI ecosystems and enterprise infrastructure, and scale its go-to-market efforts with design-partner customers in financial services, technology, and other data-sensitive industries."
San Francisco-based identity security company Multifactor has raised $15 million in a seed round led by Nexus Venture Partners, with participation from amazing funds like Y Combinator, Taurus Ventures, Honeystone Ventures, Flex Capital, Pioneer Fund, Ritual Capital, Liquid2 Ventures, and others. The company says it will spend the money on "advancing Multifactor's core technologies, expanding [its] APIs and enterprise controls, and growing a world-class research and engineering team."
Italian API security startup Equixly has secured €10 million (US$11.6 million) in Series A funding led by 33N Ventures, with participation from Alpha Intelligence Capital, JME Ventures, 360 Capital, and the Fondazione Cassa di Risparmio di Firenze. The company says the new funding "allows us to push even further, expand our team and deepen the intelligence behind our autonomous agents."
Saudi Arabian SOC provider COGNNA has raised $9.2 million in a Series A round led by Impact46 and BNVT Capital, with participation from Vision Ventures and tali ventures. The company stated, "This new investment will accelerate COGNNA’s global scale-up across product, sales, and operations. The company plans to enhance its AI capabilities, expand across the MENA and global markets, and grow its engineering and SOC operations teams to meet rising demand for scalable, intelligent cybersecurity solutions."

Barcelona-based AI compliance platform Alinia AI has secured $7.5 million in seed funding led by Mouro Capital, with participation from Raise Seed For Good, Speedinvest, and Precursor Ventures. The company stated, "We are expanding our R&D to enable businesses to train and deploy their own expert-driven Compliance Controllers for AI Agents, built around their proprietary knowledge and the regulatory frameworks that govern their sectors." The company is also "scaling its AI engineering, research, sales and customer success teams across Europe and the US to meet accelerating enterprise demand."
Irish generative AI security firm Mirror Security has raised $2.5 million in pre-seed funding led by Sure Valley Ventures and Atlantic Bridge, with support from strategic angel investors. The company says the funding "will be used to expand engineering and AI security teams in Ireland, the US, and India, accelerate product development in encrypted inferencing and secure fine-tuning, and drive immediate expansion into US enterprise markets."

Proofpoint has completed its $1.8 billion acquisition of German Microsoft 365 security provider Hornetsecurity. Proofpoint stated, "With Hornetsecurity’s strong market presence in Europe and a partner base serving over 125,000 customers via 12,000+ MSPs and channel partners, Proofpoint significantly expands its reach and capabilities within the SMB segment."
New Jersey-based application security firm Checkmarx has acquired Mountain View, California-based software supply chain security company Tromzo. Checkmarx stated, "The deal marks a major leap forward in autonomous AppSec, accelerating the delivery of AI agents that understand real enterprise risk, reason across complex software ecosystems, and remediate continuously with precision. Tromzo’s technology and world-class engineering team will enhance the Checkmarx One platform and expand the Checkmarx Assist family of AI agents. Tromzo founders Harshil Parikh and Harshit Chitalia, along with their entire AI engineering team, will join Checkmarx’s product and engineering organization."
Croatian software developer Infinum has acquired UK-based cybersecurity consultancy AMR CyberSecurity. Infinum's CEO Nikola Kapraljević stated, "When we combine their deep expertise with Infinum’s existing cybersecurity team, technological strength and engineering excellence, we’re creating a powerful foundation for cybersecurity within our organisation. This also aligns with our plan to scale in the UK and Western Europe. Looking ahead, we anticipate that cybersecurity services will account for around 10% of Infinum’s global revenue."
UK private equity firm Limerston Capital has acquired Birmingham-based penetration testing and cybersecurity consultancy Aristi and added it to Limerston's cybersecurity platform, Xypher. Limerston stated, "This transaction is the third in 6 months and builds on the group’s momentum as it continues its strategy to expand through both organic growth and strategic acquisitions, with the ambition to become one of the UK’s most trusted leaders in cyber security, digital forensics, case management and e-Discovery services."
Woven Solutions, a Reston, Virginia-based company that develops software for the national security sector, has acquired Arlington-based cybersecurity consultancy Cystemic Security. Woven stated, "Known for its delivery of cutting-edge cyber solutions to the intelligence community, Cystemic deepens Woven's ability to deliver end-to-end technology to solve the highest-priority cyber challenges for its mission partners. This marks Woven's first acquisition after taking a strategic investment from Falfurrias Management Partners in August of this year."
Dublin-headquartered MSSP Integrity360 has acquired South African cybersecurity services provider Redshift. Integrity360 stated, "Redshift adds approx. 50 customers including many leading South African finance, banking and telecommunications organisations, and an additional team of approx. 40 employees to the group. Redshift will serve as a regional centre of excellence for the group for cyber security testing, and also be connected up with the existing Integrity360 cyber advisory and managed services teams operating in the region. Integrity360 will invest in the development and expansion of the business utilising the considerable resources across the group."
Chantilly, Virginia-based MSSP Red River has acquired Alexandria, Virginia-based national security services provider Invictus. Red River stated, "The acquisition strengthens Red River’s Government Technology Systems (GTS) business unit, an innovative, agile, non-traditional government contractor of mission-based programs, and expands the company’s ability to support highly sensitive missions across the Department of War (DoW), Intelligence Community (IC) and federal civilian agencies."
Maryland-based cyber and defense contractor Synergy ECP has acquired Chantilly-based Federal IT solutions provider NetServices, with Falfurrias Capital Partners supporting the acquisition. Synergy stated, "The acquisition of NetServices follows Synergy ECP’s recent growth initiatives, including the acquisition of SoftTech Solutions and SPYROS Information and Technology solutions in 2024. The addition of NetServices further enhances Synergy’s scale, technical breadth, and ability to deliver mission-focused solutions across multiple high-priority government programs."
Executive moves.
HackerOne has appointed Stephanie Furfaro as Chief Revenue Officer and Stacy Leidwinger as Chief Marketing Officer. Furfaro previously served as Chief Business Officer at Rapid7, while Leidwinger was Chief Marketing Officer at Secureworks.
Keeper Security has named Tim Strickland as Chief Revenue Officer. Strickland most recently served as Chief Revenue Officer at ZoomInfo.
