Israeli data security startup Cyera has raised $400 million in a new funding round that brings the company's valuation to $9 billion, the Wall Street Journal reports. The funding was led by Blackstone. Cyera hasn't publicly disclosed the funding.
Italian IoT security company Exein has raised €100 million (US$118 million) in a funding round led by Blue Cloud Ventures, with participation from HV Capital, Intrepid Growth Partners, Geodesic Capital, and JP Morgan. The new investment follows a €70 million Series C round in July 2025. The company says the funding will support its "multi-deal M&A programme in 2026 in Europe and the US, and accelerate international expansion, particularly in the US and APAC markets."
Dutch threat exposure management company Gambit Cyber has secured $3.4 million in seed funding led by Expeditions, with participation of Bitdefender Voyager Ventures. The company says the funding "helps accelerate platform enhancements, international expansion, and strategic partnerships. Gambit also "announced the launch of its first fully owned subsidiary, Gambit Cyber (India), to support its growth in India."
New York-based AI verification startup Ciphero has emerged from stealth with $2.5 million in pre-seed funding led by Sovereign's Capital and Chingona Ventures.

Santa Clara, California-headquartered enterprise IT management giant ServiceNow has agreed to acquire San Francisco-based attack surface management company Armis for $7.75 billion in cash. The two companies are longtime partners, and their tools already have multiple integrations. ServiceNow stated, "When paired with ServiceNow’s business-context CMDB – which maps assets to the services, processes, and teams they support – and the ServiceNow AI Platform, ServiceNow and Armis will more effectively defend organizations from AI-powered attacks, by offering a complete, actionable understanding of cyber exposures and resolution workflows." SecurityWeek notes that Armis raised $435 million in a pre-IPO round last month, but the company has "abandoned its IPO plans in favor of an acquisition."
Executive moves.
ISC2 has appointed Scott Beale as CEO. Beale most recently served as Associate Director of the US Peace Corps.
Yubico has named Jerrod Chong, its current Chief Operating Officer, as acting CEO. Yubico's former CEO Mattias Danielsson is stepping down, but will remain available for guidance during the transition.
Keeper Security has appointed Shannon Vaughn as Senior Vice President of Federal and Benjamin Parrish as Vice President of Federal Operations. Vaughn most recently served as General Manager of Virtru Federal, while Parrish previously "held senior leadership roles supporting federal customers."
ZBeta has hired Jim McCormack as Learning and Development Manager. McCormack previously served as Global Learning and Development Lead for SMB at Accenture.
