San Jose, California-headquartered MDR provider TENEX.ai has raised $250 million in a Series B round led by Crosspoint Capital Partners. The company says the investment "will fund aggressive hiring, EMEA expansion, deeper partnerships, and continued investment in our leading AI SOC platform that processes 100% of customer alert telemetry in under a minute." TENEX has also appointed Piers Morgan as Head of EMEA to lead the company's global expansion.
San Francisco-based security-focused AI lab depthfirst has raised $80 million in a Series B round led by Meritech Capital, with participation from Forerunner Ventures, The House Fund, and existing investors including Accel, Box Group, Liquid 2 Ventures, Alt Capital, and Mantis VC. The company says the "new funding will be used to train additional security models across new domains, expand depthfirst’s AI research team, and scale enterprise adoption."
Cupertino, California-based biometric security company Alcatraz has secured $50 million in Series B funding led by BlackPeak Capital, Cogito Capital, and Taiwania Capital, with participation from existing investors Almaz Capital, EBRD, Ray Stata, and others. The company says it will "use the new capital to expand into new verticals, international markets, and grow its team."
New York-headquartered identity and governance platform provider Linx Security has raised $50 million in a Series B round led by Insight Partners, with participation from existing investors Cyberstarts and Index Ventures. The company says the new funding "will support Linx’s next phase of growth, including expanding its global footprint, scaling enterprise go-to-market efforts, and accelerating product development around autonomous identity governance."

Minneapolis-based cybersecurity software provider Fortra has acquired UK-headquartered cybersecurity training firm Zero-Point Security. Fortra stated, "This will expand Fortra’s offensive security education capabilities, bringing additional expertise in red team operations, adversary emulation, and penetration testing training. Zero‑Point Security is widely recognized for its trusted red team operations training and has built a strong reputation delivering its high-demand, self-paced courses to individuals and businesses seeking advanced offensive operations skills."
Australian MSSP EFEX has acquired Toowoomba-based medical IT solutions provider Priority 1 IT. EFEX stated, "The acquisition expands efex’s technical capability and enhances its ability to support customers that require more complex solutions backed by strong local delivery. It also adds further depth to efex’s growing healthcare capability, with Priority 1 bringing a strong medical IT heritage and established healthcare customer base."

Bitsight has named John Clancy as its new CEO. Clancy most recently served as Managing Director and Head of Portfolio Operations at PSG Equity. Bitsight's former CEO, Steve Harvey, will remain an advisor on the company's board of directors.
Tanium has hired Carol MacKinlay as Chief People Officer. MacKinlay most recently served as Chief Human Resources Officer at Pebl.
Halcyon has appointed Dave Hannigan as Field Chief Information Security Officer. Hannigan most recently served as Vice President and CISO at Nubank.
