The company plans to use the funding to "[accelerate] global market entry and B2B expansion."
Israeli agentic AI security company Capsule Security has emerged from stealth with $7 million in seed funding led by Lama Partners alongside Forgepoint Capital International. The company was "named one of six finalists in the CrowdStrike, Amazon Web Services, and NVIDIA Startup Accelerator at the RSA Conference."
Austin, Texas-based threat intelligence platform provider Mallory has raised an undisclosed amount in seed funding led by Decibel Partners, with participation from Live Oak Venture Partners and angel investors.

Cisco has announced its intent to acquire Burlingame, California-based AI observability and evaluation platform provider Galileo. The acquisition is expected to close in Q4 of Cisco’s fiscal year 2026. Cisco stated, "Galileo will strengthen Cisco’s Splunk Observability portfolio and supercharge our current AI Agent Monitoring capabilities in Splunk Observability Cloud, giving customers real-time visibility and protection into the full agent development lifecycle (ADLC). Beyond this, Galileo gives teams a single platform to instrument every stage of the ADLC with the rigor that enterprises demand."
Lansdowne, Virginia-based cybersecurity assessment and advisory firm Fortreum has acquired Reston, Virginia-based compliance automation platform provider Kovr.ai. Fortreum stated, "Fortreum’s role as the trusted independent assessor remains unchanged, and Kovr’s platform is built to work alongside the MSPs, readiness consultants, and compliance tools organizations already rely on. Existing Kovr.AI customers gain direct access to Fortreum’s CMMC C3PAO and FedRAMP assessment expertise; existing Fortreum clients gain Kovr’s AI-powered compliance platform. For channel partners that bring clients to Fortreum, this combination creates a faster, more capable assessment experience that reflects the strength of the preparation work that preceded it."
Dallas, Texas-based threat intelligence company iCOUNTER has acquired intelligence collection firm ParseIntel. iCOUNTER stated, "This strategic investment will expand the company's global collection footprint and accelerate the evolution of its Counter Threat Operating System (CTOS), strengthening its ability to detect adversary intent mapped against its customers' ecosystem to drive counter threat operations."
Fairfax, Virginia-based cybersecurity compliance-as-a-service provider ControlCase has acquired CyberNINES, a Wisconsin-based cybersecurity assessor and advisory firm focused on the Defense Industrial Base. ControlCase stated, "The acquisition brings together CyberNINES’ deep expertise in CMMC with ControlCase’s global scale, certification capabilities, and extensive experience delivering compliance programs across numerous regulatory frameworks, including CMMC, FedRAMP, and more than 100 others. The combined company is now the leading global provider of federal compliance services."
Australian MSP Virtual IT Group (VITG) has acquired cybersecurity consultancy Security Centric. Both companies are based in Sydney. VITG stated, "With origins in defence and federal government, Security Centric brings expertise in managed detection & response, GRC & advisory, security engineering and technical assurance. Its team will join VITG's expanding security practice, forming a combined group of approximately 45 cybersecurity specialists. This strengthens VITG's 24/7 ANZ Security Operations Centre (SOC), automation platform, and end-to-end security offering."
