Belfast-based software supply chain security firm Cloudsmith has raised $72 million in Series C funding led by TCV and Insight Partners, with participation from existing investors. The company stated, "We will accelerate Cloudsmith 2.0, with AI-native workflows, stronger software supply chain controls, a deeper automated policy engine, richer provenance and insights, package-aware delivery and connectivity, and more pluggability with partner tools."
San Francisco-based threat detection company Spectrum Security has emerged from stealth with $19 million in seed funding led by TechOperators, with participation from WhiteRabbit Ventures, Skinos Ventures (by Shlomo Kramer), and Alumni Ventures. The company says the funding "will accelerate Spectrum’s engineering and go-to-market efforts to meet enterprise demand."
Cleveland-based zero-trust security platform SCATR Corp. has raised $12.6 million in a Series A round led by First In. The company stated, "The Series A proceeds will be used to accelerate SCATR’s go-to-market expansion across enterprise and critical infrastructure markets, including supply chain and logistics, financial services, energy, healthcare, and telecommunications. Proceeds will also support continued product development and team growth."
German cyber threat intelligence company QuoIntelligence has secured €7.3 million (US$8.5 million) in Series A funding led by Elevator Ventures (the venture capital arm of Raiffeisen Bank International) and BMH Beteiligungs-Managementgesellschaft Hessen (BMH), with participation from Mercurius Private Equity and existing investor eCAPITAL. The company says the funding "will be deployed across go-to-market expansion, product development, and team growth."
Israeli cloud security startup Copperhelm has emerged from stealth with $7 million in seed funding led by TLV Partners, with participation from toDay Ventures, ICON, SaaS Ventures Israel, and angel investors. The company stated, "The $7 million in funding will be used to accelerate product development, expand go-to-market efforts, and scale Copperhelm's engineering team. As part of today's announcement, Shay Michel, Managing Partner at Merlin Ventures, will join Copperhelm's board of directors."
Charlottesville, Virginia-based compliance automation platform provider RIIG Technology (doing business as "HOOTL") has secured $6 million in Series A funding led by "a combination of Family Offices, a publicly listed entity, and high net worth individuals." The company stated, "With an initial focus on healthcare, the proceeds from the Series A will be used to expand HOOTL™’s AI-powered healthcare insurance platform, designed to streamline verification, validation, and claims adjudication workflows for providers."
Arizona-based cybersecurity consultancy Crush Security has emerged from stealth with nearly $3 million in seed funding from angel investors, CRN reports.

Israeli data security company Cyera has acquired Tel Aviv- and New York-based Ryft, a company that provides a data lake for AI agents. Tamar Bar-Ilan, co-founder and CTO of Cyera, stated, "The Ryft team brings deep expertise at the intersection of data and AI, and will play a key role as we build a unified control plane to help enterprises adopt agentic AI safely and at speed."
European aerospace giant Airbus has agreed to acquire French cybersecurity company Quarkslab. Airbus stated, "This planned investment is another step of Airbus’ strategy to reinforce its position as a trusted, sovereign partner for French authorities, while strengthening its presence in the European cybersecurity landscape."
Dallas, Texas-based identity security firm Silverfort has agreed to acquire Israeli agentic AI security company Fabrix Security. Fabrix CEO Raz Rotenberg stated, "By joining Silverfort, we can combine our technology with Silverfort’s platform to create something no one has achieved before: autonomous runtime Identity Security. Together, we’ll be the first to bring to the market this next generation of Identity Security—one that can truly stand up to AI-driven adversaries without slowing the business."
UK- and Australia-headquartered cybersecurity and defense firm PentenAmio has acquired London-based secure communications provider Armour Communications. PentenAmio stated, "This acquisition reinforces PentenAmio's commitment to maintain, deliver, and enhance its large- scale Secure Mobility solutions. Ultimately, this will strengthen the organisation's resilience and accelerate the pace at which PentenAmio delivers against the evolving requirements of the UK and Australian governments and their allies."
French IT services giant Atos has agreed to acquire German cryptographic solutions provider cv cryptovision. Atos stated, "This acquisition will strengthen Atos’ cybersecurity product lines and boost the company’s business in the public sector and defense market in Europe."
Houston, Texas-based IT advisory firm Alchemy Technology Group has acquired Massachusetts-based cybersecurity solutions provider IOvations. Alchemy stated, "The acquisition expands Alchemy’s cybersecurity portfolio and further extends its geographic reach into the Northeast, giving customers access to deeper expertise in cloud security, advanced threat detection, and Zero Trust architectures."
Australian governance, risk, and compliance (GRC) company Protecht has acquired San Francisco-based third-party risk management platform VISO TRUST. Jason Phillips, CEO of Protecht, stated, "VISO TRUST's agentic third-party risk capabilities naturally complement and enhance Protecht's existing risk management platform to help customers confidently manage risk across their entire enterprise and vendor ecosystems."
San Francisco-based software supply chain security firm Socket has acquired software extension security company Secure Annex. Socket stated, "With this acquisition, Socket is expanding its coverage across both open source packages and extensions, two areas that increasingly shape how software is built and used."
Executive moves.
Point Wild has named Neill Feather as its new CEO. The company's former CEO, Hari Ravichandran, will transition to Chairman of the Board. Feather previously served as the company's President and COO.
Cyber A.I. Group has appointed Irving Bruckstein as CEO. Bruckstein previously served as CIO and CISO at Washington College.
