The company says it will use the funding to accelerate the development of agentic AI capabilities, expand its telemetry data lake architecture, and scale global enterprise expansion.

Pittsburgh-based AI security company Gray Swan has raised $40 million in a Series A round led by Wing Venture Capital and Madrona, with participation from Obvious Ventures, Snowflake Ventures, Hudson River Trading, Samsung Next, and existing investor Magarac Venture Partners. The company says the funding "will accelerate Gray Swan's go-to-market operations, deepen its partnerships with the labs building frontier AI, and scale the team helping the world's leading organizations deploy AI quickly without compromising security."

London-based AI governance platform Geordie AI has secured $30 million in Series A funding led by Balderton Capital, with participation from Crosspoint Capital and existing investors General Catalyst & Ten Eleven. The company says the "funding allows us to continue investing in the world-class team and infrastructure that enterprises can truly rely upon to safely operationalize AI agents."

French attack surface management platform provider MokN has raised $15 million in a Series A round led by GV (Google Ventures), with participation from Datadog and existing investors Moonfire and OVNI Capital. The company says the funding "will allow us to accelerate on two fronts: expanding internationally, with a strong focus on the US while continuing to invest in Europe, and executing on our long-term product vision."

Finnish security and compliance automation platform CRACI has raised €1.4 million (US$1.6 million) in pre-seed funding led by Lifeline Ventures, with participation from First Fellow Partners, Wave Ventures, and angel investor Lucas Käldström. The company says the funding "will accelerate our mission to help businesses meet the Cyber Resilience Act (CRA) head-on."

London-based deepfake-resistant biometrics startup Voxmind has secured £547,000 (US$736,000) in pre-seed funding led by Ascension Ventures, with participation from angel investors.

Cyient has agreed to acquire Santa Clara, California-based AI-native data and product engineering firm TAO Digital Solutions.

Maryland-based ICS security firm Dragos has acquired Nashville-based embedded device security company Phosphorus. Dragos stated, "Adding Phosphorus extends Dragos capabilities to secure connected devices across the full xOT environment, delivering deeper device visibility, automated remediation, and continuous risk reduction."

Indian technology and engineering company Cyient has agreed to acquire Santa Clara, California-based AI-native data and product engineering firm TAO Digital Solutions. Cyient stated, "Cyient and TAO Digital will help clients pivot efficiently to a data ready state to drive AI‑enabled scale that is built on robust data foundations delivering accelerated outcomes and sustained competitive advantage."

Executive moves.

Rapid7 has named board member Wael Mohamed as its new CEO. The company's former CEO, Corey Thomas, will transition to Executive Chairman of the Board.

Veriff has hired Philippe de Passorio as Chief Revenue Officer. De Passorio most recently served as Senior Vice President of Sales for North America at Adyen.
