Ohio-based encryption management company Keyfactor has secured more than $1 billion in a strategic growth round led by Summit Partners. The company stated, "The new investment will help accelerate the company's global scale and growth initiatives, enabling product innovation, geographic expansion, team building, and strategic acquisitions. Following the close of the transaction, existing investors, including Insight Partners and Sixth Street Growth, will maintain significant ownership in Keyfactor." Andy Collins and Colin Mistele, Managing Directors at Summit Partners, will join Keyfactor's board of directors.
Dutch MSSP Eye Security has raised €60 million (US$68.5 million) in Series C funding led by Sofina, alongside a "significantly increased commitment" from existing investor TIN Capital, and continued support from existing investors J.P. Morgan Growth Equity Partners and Bessemer Venture Partners. The company stated, "This Series C accelerates their mission, funding geographic expansion into new European markets, product ecosystem growth through strategic integrations, AI-powered capabilities that augment human expertise, and team expansion across engineering, threat intelligence and customer operations."
Menlo Park, California-based AI video surveillance company Hakimo has raised $12 million in funding led by Zigg Capital, with participation from existing investors Neotribe Ventures, Vertex Ventures, Defy.vc, and Rocketship.vc. The company says it "will use the funds to deepen its presence in real estate whilst accelerating expansion into other markets and geographies."
Prague-headquartered post-quantum authentication and identity security firm Wultra has raised €6.8 million (US$7.8 million) in a Series A round led by Seventure Partners, with participation from ARIADNEXT founders Marc Norlain and Guillaume Despagne and existing investors J&T Ventures and Elevator Ventures. The company stated, "The proceeds will be used to scale Wultra's digital identity platform and accelerate the company's next phase of growth. The funding will also support team growth, enable a stronger focus on large strategic customers, and support the company's long-term strategic objectives." Wultra also "plans to expand its operations into the Middle East and the United States."
South Korean maritime cybersecurity firm CYTUR has secured $3.4 million in Series A funding from Sunbo Angel Partners (Sunbo Group), STIC Ventures, Jones & Rocket, and others. The company says it "plans to direct the proceeds toward recruiting maritime and defense cybersecurity talent, advancing its ship cyber threat modeling and security verification solutions, expanding its naval MRO and defense cybersecurity business, and entering overseas shipbuilding markets including the United States, Japan, and Singapore."

Belgian developer security firm Aikido has acquired Israeli agentic container security company Root. According to Calcalist, "Following the acquisition, Aikido will open a development center in Israel that will absorb all of Root’s employees and is expected to further expand its local workforce. The value of the acquisition was not disclosed, but is estimated at between $70 million and $100 million."
Santa Clara, California-based network and cloud security firm Infoblox has agreed to acquire San Francisco-based network intelligence and observability platform Kentik. Infoblox stated, "The planned acquisition of Kentik will help customers understand what is happening across their infrastructure continuously and identify and prioritize issues more efficiently, while also solidifying data foundations for AI tools. This accelerates the company's vision for an infrastructure-centric, AI-driven security and networking platform."
Irish telecom and IT company Viatel Technology Group has acquired Scottish cybersecurity consultancy FullProxy. The companies said in a press release, "The acquisition strengthens Viatel’s cyber security practice and expands its presence in Scotland and the wider UK market. It follows Viatel’s continued investment in cyber resilience, secure infrastructure and AI-ready security services as organisations face increasing pressure to protect complex digital environments. For FullProxy, the move provides additional scale and investment while creating new opportunities."
CyberFOX, a provider of identity access management for managed service providers, has acquired Secure Access Service Edge (SASE) provider Timus Networks. Both companies are based in Tampa, Florida. CyberFOX stated, "The acquisition adds secure access, secure web browsing, and adaptive policy enforcement to the CyberFOX platform, giving IT teams a broader proactive defense stack from a single vendor."
Plano, Texas-based cyberattack prevention company Intrusion Inc. has acquired Las Vegas-based MSSP VigilAigent from Tego Cyber Inc. Intrusion stated, "The acquisition will accelerate Intrusion's growth strategy by adding approximately $3.5 million in annual recurring revenue (ARR)from a diversified base of multi-year customer contracts, an established reseller network of more than 80 partners, and an installed base of approximately 1,000 customers - extending Intrusion's commercial reach from day one."
San Diego-headquartered Qualcomm Technologies has acquired Israeli network security and intelligence firm SAM Seamless Network. Qualcomm stated, "Using device intelligence and analytics, SAM enables service providers to better see, understand, and help manage connected devices and communications across their subscriber networks. As we move forward, these services will continue to be supported and developed within Qualcomm Technologies' broader portfolio, enabling a smooth transition for customers and partners."
Akamai has completed its acquisition of secure enterprise browser provider LayerX for approximately $205 million. Akamai stated, "The acquisition will build on Akamai’s investment in its Zero Trust platform, which includes market-leading segmentation, Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA), and DNS security solutions."

GuidePoint Security has named Scott Rachford as its new CEO. The company's founder and former CEO, Michael Volk, will transition to Executive Chairman. Rachford has been with GuidePoint for more than a decade, most recently serving as Regional Partner for the company’s North Central region.
Tyto Athene has named Andrew L. Boyd as CEO. The company's former CEO, Dennis Kelly, will remain on the board of directors. Boyd most recently served as IBM's Consulting Federal Defense and Intelligence Industry Lead.
Camelot Secure has appointed Victor Brown as Chief Technology Officer. Brown previously served as Vice President and CTO for IBM U.S. Public and Federal Market.
LogicGate has hired David Rostov as Chief Financial Officer. Rostov most recently served as co-founder and CFO of Aurion Biotech.
