Israeli security data analytics firm Vega has raised $120 million in a Series B round led by existing investor Accel, with participation from Cyberstarts, Redpoint, and CRV. The company says the funding "will accelerate product development and expansion of Vega's go-to-market team."
Paris-headquartered secrets security and non-human-identity governance firm GitGuardian has secured $50 million in a Series C round led by Insight Partners, with participation from Quadrille Capital and existing investors Balderton, BPI, Eurazeo, Fly Ventures, and Sapphire Ventures. The company stated, "GitGuardian will aim to accelerate US expansion while opening new regions including APAC, South America, and [the] Middle East. The company will look to strengthen its European presence across DACH (Germany, Austria, Switzerland), UK, France, and Nordic markets, where regulatory frameworks increasingly mandate secrets and NHI security. Target verticals include technology, financial services, and pharmaceutical/healthcare sectors where stringent compliance requirements and large development teams create substantial platform value."
Israeli AI SaaS security provider Reco has raised $30 million in a Series B round led by Zeev Ventures, with participation from new investors Workday Ventures, TIAA Ventures, S Ventures, and Quadrille Capital, alongside all existing investors, including Insight Partners, boldstart ventures, and Angular Ventures. The company says the "new funding will be used to support Reco’s continued expansion, including significant hiring across engineering, product, and go-to-market teams, with a focus on discovering and securing AI apps and agents at scale."
Florida-based vulnerability and exposure management firm Nucleus Security has secured $20 million in a Series C round led by Delta-v Capital. The company's CEO and co-founder Steve Carter says the funding allows the company to scale alongside its customers and to "deepen the intelligence and automation required to operate in cloud- and AI-driven environments."
Israeli vibe coding security company Backslash Security has raised $19 million in a Series A round led by KOMPAS VC, with participation from Maniv, Artofin Venture Capital, and existing investors StageOne Ventures and First Rays Capital. The company says the new funding "will be used to expand Backslash’s R&D talent and operations, deepen the Backslash platform’s capabilities, and scale its go-to-market presence in the United States and Europe to support growing demand from enterprise security teams."
San Francisco-based product security startup Nullify has secured $12.5 million in seed funding led by SYN Ventures, with participation from existing investor Black Nova Venture Capital. The company says the funding "will be deployed to scale Nullify’s go-to-market operations, expand engineering and research teams, and accelerate global growth."
Seattle-based automated code security firm Zast.AI has raised $6 million in a Pre-A round led by Hillhouse Capital. The company says it "will use the new funds to accelerate core technology R&D and global market expansion."
German confidential cloud computing startup enclaive has landed €4.1 million (US$4.8 million) in seed funding led by Join Capital and the Amadeus APEX Technology Fund, with participation from Auriga Cyber Ventures. The company says the funding "will support commercial scaling through expanded sales and marketing efforts, enhancement of the eMCP platform functionality, team growth focused on engineering and operations, and initial international expansion."

UK-headquartered cybersecurity firm Sophos has acquired London-based cybersecurity assurance provider Arco Cyber. Sophos stated, "Arco Cyber will join Sophos as a dedicated team to advance Sophos CISO Advantage. Its technology and expertise will be integrated into Sophos Central, the platform which delivers Sophos’ broader ecosystem including advisory services, managed detection and response (MDR), and partner-delivered services that enable MSPs and MSSPs to scale cybersecurity strategy for their customers."
Aura, a Boston-based online safety platform for families, has agreed to acquire Qoria, an Australian company focused on digital safety for children. The companies stated, "Upon completion of the transaction, Qoria will become a wholly-owned subsidiary of Aura and the newly combined group will then begin trading on the ASX under the ticker symbol AXQ." Aura said in a press release, "The combination of Aura and Qoria will establish a global industry leader in online safety and security, bringing together Aura’s rapidly growing, AI-powered suite of online safety and wellbeing features and Qoria’s global footprint, connected schools ecosystem and deep expertise in student safety and digital wellbeing, which will give the company access to more than 9 million families around the world and more than 20 percent of schools in the United States. On a combined basis the group generated more than $300 million in annual recurring revenue (ARR) in the year ending December 31, 2025 and is expected to grow by more than 20 percent in calendar year 2026. The combined company targets being cash flow positive in calendar year 2026 (from transaction completion)."
San Jose, California-based cloud security provider Zscaler has acquired San Francisco-based browser security company SquareX. Zscaler stated, "With SquareX, Zscaler will extend the same level of uncompromising security to unmanaged devices, enabling organizations to secure users within their preferred browser - such as Google Chrome and Microsoft Edge - without the need for a full agent or the limitations of a separate, third-party browser."
American private equity firm AEA Investors has acquired Pittsburgh-headquartered MSSP Magna5, alongside "significant reinvestment" from Magna5's management team. Magna5 says the "partnership will enable Magna5 to expand its cybersecurity and compliance offerings, broaden AI-driven solutions, and continue scaling its national platform while maintaining the same trusted leadership team and commitment to exceptional service."
Michigan-based MSSP Logicalis US has acquired Ohio-based cybersecurity compliance provider Maple Woods Enterprises. Logicalis stated, "Integrating Maple Woods directly into Logicalis’ managed services framework will strengthen the company’s ability to provide trusted, scalable security solutions and enhance the value it delivers to customers. The acquisition also positions Logicalis US to offer customers a more structured, proactive approach to security, while expanding into healthcare; state, local and education (SLED); and other markets."
Executive moves.
Microsoft's CEO Satya Nadella announced that Hayete Gallot has rejoined the company as Executive Vice President of Security, while Charlie Bell will "take on a new role focused on engineering quality," reporting to Nadella. Gollot, who previously spent 15 years working for Microsoft, had been serving as President of Customer Experience for Google Cloud. Bell previously served as Executive Vice President for Microsoft's Security, Compliance, Identity, and Management organization.
First Horizon has appointed Leilani Farol as Chief Information Security Officer. Farol most recently served as Head of Governance, Risk, and Compliance for Fidelity Investments.
QuSecure has named Brian Cunningham as Executive Vice President of Strategy and Growth. Cunningham most recently served as COO at FoundationaLLM.AI.
MorganFranklin Cyber has promoted Chris Rose, Senior Director of AEGIS, to Managing Director.
Trulioo has appointed Jana Hill as Chief People Officer. Hill has previously held roles at Nuvei, Element AI, and CAE.
