A Spotlight on Black Tech Street

Show Notes

Tyrance Billingsley, Founder and Executive Director of Black Tech Street, joins Ann on this week's episode of Afternoon Cyber Tea. Through storytelling and program development, Black Tech Street serves as a liaison/coordinator between the Tulsa ecosystem and Black tech-focused opportunities that will help Black Tulsans/Greenwood residents break into the tech workforce or become/thrive as Black tech entrepreneurs. The Black Tech Street movement aims to mobilize Black people nationwide to embrace the tech industry to build wealth and scale their human potential. Tyrance and Ann discuss why community is so critical to Black Tech Street, how representation can inspire the next generation of tech leaders, and specific programs and initiatives security leaders can get involved in to support Black Tech Street.
